One pay area can span several states.
A locality label names a region. Its official boundary is a list of counties and, in some cases, specific duty stations. For example, OPM’s Dallas–Fort Worth table includes specified Oklahoma counties as well as Texas counties. This lookup preserves the geographic codes from the official definition.
If your place does not appear, check the full OPM list. A missing result does not establish that Rest of U.S. applies.

Can I look up my pay area by home address or ZIP code?
Use your position’s official worksite. For some remote arrangements this can be a home worksite, while many telework arrangements retain the agency worksite. ZIP codes can cross county boundaries. Your agency documents the official worksite and confirms the pay schedule. See OPM’s official worksite rules.
Why is my county missing?
This tool indexes whole-county and independent-city entries from OPM’s named locality definitions. A missing result might fall under Rest of U.S. or require an exception check. Use the full OPM definition before choosing a table.
Does the listed rate include locality pay?
Yes. Each regular locality table already includes its locality adjustment. Do not add a percentage to its displayed annual rate. The base GS table is separate.
