Our purpose
Public Atlas brings U.S. public datasets into readable place pages, practical lookup tools and explanatory guides. Our current water coverage includes nine measured reservoirs, seven NOAA tide references and four USGS river gauges. Coverage is deliberately identified on each page.
An independent publication
Public Atlas is not affiliated with USGS, NOAA, TWDB, EPA, Census or OPM. Agency names identify our sources and do not imply endorsement. Public Atlas Editorial is our publication label, not a named expert or a claim of professional accreditation.
How this edition was made
Software imports official datasets on a schedule. AI assisted with code, source-based guide drafts and selected conceptual artwork. Named-location photographs are credited separately. Independent human expert review of the guides remains pending; each guide discloses that status.
Ownership information
Public owner details and a monitored editorial contact will be added before the advertising launch. The site currently carries no display advertising.
